Start with the neighborhoods developers planned and locals name. Boundaries are curated by TidyMap from local usage.
Neighborhoods are the master-community extents set by developers (Dubai Marina, JLT, Downtown Dubai) or the areas locals name (Al Karama), curated by TidyMap from listings usage, local identity and main roads — not official community boundaries. Palm Jumeirah Trunk and Dubai Hills Estate Apartment Core cover only the apartment core of those communities: gated villa areas have no street photos and aren't included. A block counts when its center falls inside; scores are block averages, ranked only against other neighborhoods in the same city, never across cities. Facets with fewer than 30 blocks show “not enough data”. Dubai is car-oriented; everyday convenience uses straight-line distance to facilities, and bus stops come from RTA open data from the second half of 2025. This city shows no street photos, only scores and written descriptions.
