01First impressions

Along both sides of Jianshan Road is the residential district Yingge has built in recent years. Real-estate listings say that, compared with the old town around Yingge Old Street, the blocks here are tidier and the buildings newer. Between the blocks, Jianshan Park is a community park with a skating rink, a basketball court and a children's playground.

Besides Jianshan Park, Jianfu Park and Jianshan Second Park are also in Jianshan Village. For school, Erqiao Elementary School is in Erqiao Village and Jianshan Junior High School is in Jianshan Village.

At the end of 2025, Jianshan Village had 10,302 residents.

02What works

The base catchment of Erqiao Elementary School is Erqiao Village, Erjia Village and neighborhood units (lin) 6, 7, 8 and 16 of Jianshan Village; lin 1 to 4, 9 and 11 to 15 of Jianshan Village belong to Yingge Elementary School, and lin 5 and 10 are shared by the two schools. So even within Jianshan Village, which school a child attends depends on which lin you live in.

A property news report says PX Mart, POYA and Simple Mart have already moved in, about 5 minutes' drive from Yingge Station. An estate agent quoted in the report says that taking Sanying Bridge to National Freeway No. 3 makes Tucheng, Banqiao and Zhonghe easy to reach.

In our street photos, greenery ranks 65th out of 100 neighborhoods in New Taipei, in the middle tier; litter and street cleanliness ranks 70th, in the lower tier.

03Heads-up

Most categories in this neighborhood are in the lower tier: daily shopping ranks 74th, healthcare 82nd and pavements 73rd. Real-estate listings also say that for large malls, department stores and hospitals you have to rely on the surrounding areas.

The Sanying Line opened on 30 June 2026, but none of its five stations in Yingge is in the neighborhood; the nearest to Jianshan Junior High School, Guohua and Ceramics Old Street, are both more than 1 km away in a straight line. In a 2023 property news report, an estate agent said that few bus routes serve the area, so most residents drive or ride scooters, and some estates are close to a cemetery.

04A bit of history

Yingge's pottery, so the story goes, began with Jianshan's clay: in the Jiaqing era of the Qing dynasty, settlers are said to have found that the nearby Jianshan area was rich in clay, and set up kilns in Yingge to make pottery. In 1946 Yingge was reorganised into 14 villages, including Jianshan Village and Erqiao Village.

Jianshan Road became a new residential area because the old town around the station had little vacant land left to build on, so developers turned to Jianshan Road, about 5 minutes' drive from the station.

How are these measured?

Compared against the New Taipei neighborhoods in this guide; metrics without enough data are not ranked. Shopping counts convenience stores plus the nearer of a supermarket or a traditional market (public and private retail markets); night markets, vendor zones and shopping-street shops are not counted. Transit is rail-first with a lower weight for buses.

TidyMap rates the street environment and everyday convenience. It does not assess the home itself, safety, noise or actual living experience. About data limits
